Plump Harvest Produce Myrtleford’s newest Licensed Café and Bakery is commencing its cooking class program, in their state of the art purpose built cooking school kitchen, it is the only dedicated commercial facility of this type in North East Victoria. Danielle Brooke co-owner of Plump Harvest Produce said “We are so excited to be starting our cooking classes next month, we are very keen to showcase the diversity of North East Region foods and the talented chefs we have in these valleys. The classes will provide a range of cooking styles and methods and something for both adults and |

children in the next three months with regional and visiting chefs.”
We have two classes scheduled for November Lesley Russell of Orange Regional Cooking School will be exploring some of the regional delights of trout, goat cheese and chestnuts in a relaxed, fun and informative class. Next up we have Kate Elder of Great Alpine Food who will be utilizing Local Spring Produce from North East Victoria. In December we have several wine tastings and a Children’s cooking class where children can learn how |
to make special Christmas treats to take home. In January we have more children’s cooking during the holidays. Then we have Michael Ryan of Range a recent Age Chefs Hat winner with some wonderful signature dishes from Range.
Sandra Binder from Monsoon Spice takes us on an exotic spice tour of the world and then Roi Rigoni of Roi’s Restaurant Diner lets in on some secrets of making Gnocchi. The classes will be limited to small numbers so there is plenty of opportunity for participants to discuss recipes, methods and even become involved. Participants will |
|
|
be able to taste the unique flavours and textures of each dish and enjoy a glass of wine in the process. To register for these classes please contact Plump Harvest Produce on 03 57522257 or drop in and fill out a registration form.
We intend to have three blocks of classes throughout the year; Late Spring/Summer, Autumn and Winter. |
